Yet another disciple of director Krishnavamsi is to make a film with hero Manchu Manoj. Raja, a former associate of Krishnavamsi, is turning director with an untitled film starring Manchu Manoj. A new production company is producing this and the movie will begin its regular shoot from next month.
Recently, Manoj acted in Nenu Meeku Telusa, that was directed by Ajay Shastri, Krishnvamsi’s former associate. And he is now working in director Chandrashekar Yeleti’s current film - Prayanam and Yeleti also had associated with KV. Looks like Manch Manoj has found new love for KV’s sishya’s.

Director Vamsi Paidipalli has got another big chance. After the colossal flop of Prabhas starrer Munna, he didn’t get any offers. Yet, producer Dil Raju has given him another tempting offer – to direct hero NTR. According to our sources, hero NTR has okayed Dil Raju’s new movie with Vamsi Paidipalli wielding the megaphone.
NTR is said to have impressed with Vamsi’s script and has given green signal to the project. Earlier, Dil Raju proposed several names of directors to NTR including ‘Lakshyam’ Vasu but the hero didn’t show interest. He is finally given nod to this project. But it remains to be seen when this project would really take off.

Krishnavamsi’s Sasirekha Parinayam will be the first movie to hit the screens in 2009. The maverick director is planning to release the movie on January 1st. Starring Tarun and Genelia as the lead pair, the film has already completed shooting part and is now in the postproduction stage.
The film"s music, scored by Manisharma, is said to rocking. Remember Krishnavamsi and Manisharma had earlier given musical blockbuster with Murari. “We are planning to release the audio next week,” producer Sunkara Madhu Murali said.
The film is a romantic entertainer.

Leading news daily Andhra Jyothy today (Nov 18) published a scoop that power star Pawan Kalyan will be contesting in the next elections. He will be fielding in Kadapa Loksabha constituency to take on Chief Minister YS Rajashekar Reddy’s son YS Jaganmohan Reddy. Will he really take on Jagan? Will Pawan Kalyan also ditch acting to work ‘for a better society’?
Given the fact that Pawan is an emotional person and his left ideology, there would be not any doubt about his acting participation in politics. In fact, it is Pawan who insisted on Megastar to take the political plunge when his brother was dillydallying on the issue.
The question is what happens to his films? He is currently working for S J Surya’s Puli and has also signed Puri Jagannadh’s movie. According to our sources, it won’t be contesting the elections but will participate in canvassing aggressively.

Swetha Prasad Basu, the teenage beauty, who wowed the audience with her performance in Kotta Bangarau Lokam, is back. She has signed another Telugu film to be directed by debutant N V Prasad. Swetha who is also busy with couple of Hindi films has accepted this movie.
as she felt that it is right script to further career in Tollywood. Two young heroes will be acting opposite her. Regular shooting will commence from December.
A new production company, Ratna Celluliods, is producing it. A group of friends who have experience in movie distribution and production have established this production company. More details are awaited.

మనోజ్, రియా, స్నేహా వుల్లాల్ లు జంటగా అజయ్ శాస్త్రి దర్శకత్వం లో మంచు లక్ష్మి నిర్మిస్తున్న చిత్రం "నేను మీకు తెలుసా". ఈ చిత్రం పోస్ట్ ప్రొడక్షన్ పనులు కూడా పూర్తి చేసుకొని విడుదల కు సిద్దమయ్యింది. త్వరలోనే సెన్సార్ పూర్తి చేసి ఈ నెల పదవ తారీఖున ఈ చిత్రాన్ని విడుదల చేయనున్నట్లు ఈ చిత్ర సమర్పకుడు మోహన్ బాబు తెలియజేసారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ జనరల్ గా ఒక చిత్రాన్ని నిర్మించేటప్పుడు తాను ఎక్కువ కష్టపడతాననీ అయితే ఈ సారి ఆ పెయిన్ ని మనోజ్ ఎక్కువ తీసుకొన్నాడనీ ఒక రకం గా ఈ చిత్రం మనోజ్ కి ఒక ఛాలెంజ్ లాంటిదనీ అన్నారు. ముఖ్యంగా ఈ చిత్రం ఆడియో ని తెలుగులో మొదటిసారిగా సోనీ బి.ఎమ్.జి. వారు విడుదల చేసారనీ ఈ చిత్రం తోనే తొలి ఆడుగు వేసిన సంగీత దర్శకుడు అచ్చు మంచి పేరు తెచ్చుకొన్నాడనీ ఆయన తెలిపారు. అలాగే అజయ్ కి ఇది మొదటి సినిమానే అయినా తను మొదట చెప్పిన బడ్జెట్ లోనే చిత్రాన్ని పూర్తి చేసాడనీ అతని కి కూడా మంచి ఫ్యూచర్ వుందని కూడా ఆయన తెలిపారు. దర్శకుడు అజయ్ శాస్త్రి మాట్లాడుతూ ప్రస్తుతం నేనుమీకు తెలుసా ఆడియో ఛార్ట్ బస్టర్స్ లో నంబర్ ఒన్ పొజిషన్ లో వుందనీ సినిమా రిలీజ్ అవ్వడానికి ఇంకా పది రోజులు టైమ్ వుండగానే సొనీ వారికి తర్డ్ రిపీట్ ఆర్డర్ వచ్చిందనీ ఇంకో విశేషం ఏంటి అంటే అచ్చు బాణీలు తెలుగు తమిళం రెండింటిలోనూ ప్రేక్షకులను ఆకట్టుకొన్నాయని అన్నారు. మనోజ్ మాట్లాడుతూ ఈ చిత్రం డెఫినెట్ గా విజయం సాధిస్తుందనీ సాధించాలనీ తాను కోరుకొంటున్నట్లు గా తెలిపారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా విష్ణు ఎంగేజ్ మెంట్ ఈ నెల 19 న వుంటుందని కూడా మోహన్ బాబు తెలియజేసారు.

The deadly combination of Pawan Kalyan and Puri Jagnnadh is finally materializing. Actor Ganesh has made this possible. Ganesh Babu, who acted in many films in small roles, is turning producer and he would be producing this big budgeted movie next year. He has roped in Pawan Kalyan and Puri Jagannadh for his maiden production. An official statement was issued today (October 3, 2008) to the media.
Puri made his debut as director with Pawan Kalyan starrer Bhadri but even after directing 11 films, he could not make another film with Pawan. Now his dream to direct the power star again is taking place finally. Actually, Puri himself planned to produce a film with Pawan but somehow it didn’t work out.

Director Teja's new film, Keka, had its music launch on the eve of Gandhi Jayanthi and Ramzan festival. The music launch ceremony was held at Taj Deccan and the event was a lowkey affair. Minister Damodar Reddy unveiled the first audio album. The other guests present at the event were D.Suresh Babu, Thammareddy Bharadwaja, Nallampalli Bujji, Chandrabose, Dil Raju, Gemini Kiran, Chakri, Hema Chandra and Pranavi.
Teja lauded Chakri for his outstanding musical score. He also thanked veteran cinematographer P.C.Sreeram for canning some spellbinding visuals for the movie. "You have not witnessed such work in the last decade. I am sure it will knock you out," he said. The film has all new cast and is produced by Teja himself. Interestingly, the film's cast was not present for the music launch.

Sneha Ullal is getting busier in Tollywood. Post the success of Ullasanga Utsahanga, she has signed another two films in Telugu. The beauty whose features resemble to Aishwarya Rai is now to be paired up with Nagarjuna’s nephew Sushanth in his next film titled Current. The film is to be directed by newcomer Prathap, a former associate of directors Sukumar and Allari RaviBabu.
Sneha Ullal is currently working for Manoj starrer Nenu Meeku Telusa and another film with Sharwanand. Sushanth’s film will begin its regular shoot in November.

Prabhas has finally made up his mind for his next project. After much brainstorming and listening to scripts narrated by various directors in the last four months, Prabhas has, at last, given green signal to the remake of Billa, the Ajith starrer Tamil film, which is nothing but the remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s Don. Prabhas’s home production house Gopikrishna Movies will produce this. Meher Ramesh (of Kantri) will be directing it. It will be Prabhas’s immediate next film and will hit the floors next month, sources informed us.
NTR’s Yugandher was also based on Amitabh’s Don. Both the remake rights of Billa and Yugandher (same story and concept) are with Sri Raja Rajaeshwari Combines and the production house has sold the rights to Gopikrishna Movies for a decent amount.
